Caphira is an art-inspired brand brought to life by skilled artisans in India. Our journey began with designs influenced by the elegance and vibrancy of French artists, but over time, our inspirations have grown to embrace art from all over the world.
At the heart of Caphira is a commitment to sustainability and well-being. Each piece is crafted from plant-based fabrics that not only look stunning but are also healthy, breathable, hypoallergenic, and incredibly soft. Origin
Caphira, a greek goddess for storm clouds, began in December 2016, born out of a desire to create scarves from natural fabrics with meaningful designs. It all started in Normandy, France, where the idea took shape. Partnering with a French collaborator, we introduced our creations to France through artisanal markets, hotels, galleries, and boutiques.
As the brand gained recognition, we hosted private showcases, which eventually led to a pivotal moment—an introduction to the director at the Louvre in Paris. She admired our designs and invited us to present every new collection at the Louvre in a private showcase for the employees ahead of their launch.
Buoyed by this incredible opportunity and confidence, Caphira expanded, holding exhibitions across France.
In 2024, the brand embarked on a new chapter, showcasing in boutiques throughout Goa, India. Today, Caphira is proud to be available both online and offline, with a presence in France and Goa.
